The Author has a desire to explain his preferences in golf equipment and golf courses. These accounts will necessarily have a degree of whimsy, in common with many of the fictional accounts in the vicinity. The initial proposal was for an essay on the 1 iron, but in the immortal words of Lee Trevino, even God can’t strike (or write about) a 1 iron, so we’ll have to wait for that. The first two are accounts of favourite short golf courses (including pitch and putt and shorter), and favourite putters.
